New City College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Curriculum Manager to lead its Health Sciences, Early Years and Social Care provision. Reporting to the Group Curriculum Director, the successful candidate will drive curriculum innovation, maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and support the continued growth and success of the programme area.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with a salary of £58,400 - £67,500 per year. The preferred start date is as soon as possible. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Applicants should have a degree or relevant professional qualification and a teaching qualification, or be working towards one. Significant teaching experience in a related subject, proven curriculum development and quality improvement experience, strong leadership skills, and a sound understanding of further education and post-16 provision are required.
Lead curriculum delivery across Health Sciences, Early Years and Social Care, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
Oversee student progress, achievement and course performance.
Manage and develop staff through performance reviews, coaching and support.
Coordinate programme operations, including course planning and delivery.
Support curriculum development, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Contribute to budgeting, resource management and engagement with employers and external partners.
Uphold safeguarding requirements for young people and vulnerable adults.
