About Tymberwood Academy

Tymberwood Academy is a primary academy in Gravesend, Kent, serving children from nursery age through to the end of Key Stage 2. Part of REAch2 Academy Trust, the school educates approximately 394 pupils aged 3 to 11. Its ethos centres on caring for every child, recognising individual strengths and encouraging pupils to believe that positive future opportunities are within their reach. The academy seeks to create a welcoming, inclusive environment in which children feel supported to learn, develop and thrive.

The academy was rated Good by Ofsted in February 2022. Its membership of REAch2 Academy Trust provides access to a broad collaborative network of more than 60 schools, enabling the sharing of expertise and effective practice. The school values strong relationships with pupils and families, while its catering provision plays an important part in creating a safe, positive and enjoyable school day.
