Penair School is seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated Teacher of English to provide maternity or parental leave cover from 2 November 2026. This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover position, with the possibility of undertaking the role as a job share.
The successful candidate will teach English across KS3 and KS4, joining an energetic and collaborative department that welcomes fresh ideas and is committed to strong classroom practice. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
The salary is MPS/UPS (£30,000–£46,525). The closing date is 15 September 2026 at 9am. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
