Dixons Cottingley Academy is seeking a reliable and conscientious cleaner to join its Business Services team. This is a permanent, part-time, all-year-round position, available to start as soon as possible.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 6:30pm, changing to 1:00pm to 4:00pm during school holidays. The role offers an actual salary of £13,866 per year (DAT Level 1).
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available. Interviews are scheduled for 16 September 2026.
Working as part of the academy's cleaning and site services provision, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key expectations include:
Completing cleaning duties thoroughly and efficiently across designated academy areas
Following relevant health, safety and hygiene procedures
Reporting maintenance, safety or supply issues through the appropriate channels
Working cooperatively with colleagues in the Business Services team
Supporting the academy's values and commitment to continuous improvement
Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is expected. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. CVs will not be accepted, so candidates must submit the required application form.
