Provide planned and ad hoc PPA cover for approximately two days each week.
Help pupils who are new to English access learning, develop confidence and make progress.
Support parents by leading an English group and assisting with tasks such as online school applications.
Provide Arabic-to-English and English-to-Arabic translation where able; fluent Arabic is highly desirable.
Deliver pastoral or therapeutic interventions for EAL pupils where appropriate, with training available.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify learning needs, raise standards and improve outcomes.
Promote the school's Christian ethos and values throughout school life.
Applicants should ideally have experience of working with children from EYFS to Year 6, including class-cover experience and support for pupils who are new to English. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and evidence of the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
