Job Overview

Join our vibrant and oversubscribed primary school and nursery as an Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3). This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train, gain valuable experience, and develop your career in early years education.

Key Responsibilities

Support the care and development of nursery children, including those with additional needs.

Assist with the preparation of resources and the organisation of nursery rooms.

Help with tidying, cleaning, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Engage children in purposeful play, learning experiences, and physical activities.

Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.

Supervise and interact positively with children, encouraging good behaviour and social skills.

Help create an environment where effective learning can take place.

Work in accordance with nursery and school policies and procedures.

Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.

Requirements

GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).

A genuine interest in working with young children.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
